Breakfast Energy Smoothie (Mixed Berries Smoothie)

Ingredients:

2 cups orange juice
1 cup vanilla yogurt (you can use flavored yogurt)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups mixed fresh or frozen berries (mixed berries, like blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

Procedure:

Place all ingredients into blender (liquid ingredients first).

Blend on high for 2 minutes or until smooth. Scrape down sides and blend for another 30 seconds.



Anti-Bloat Smoothie (CuCu Ginger Smoothie)

Why Ginger? Ginger plays an important role in our smoothie since it is a natural anti-inflammatory food as well as a digestive aid.  It soothes the digestive system and relaxes the muscles of the digestive tract, which keeps you from getting bloated.


Ingredients:

1/2 cup coconut water
1 banana
1 large cucumber, sliced
1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
Handful of ice (depending on how thick you like it)

Procedure:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until super smooth. It makes 2 small smoothies. Very easy! Enjoy!

Instant Mood Boost Smoothie (Choco Cherry Smoothie)

Ingredients:

½ avocado
½-1 banana (depending on size)
1 handful of frozen cherries
2 tbsps. hemp hearts
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp. almond butter
1 tbsp. raw cacao or cocoa powder
1 medjool date, pitted
1 ½ cup water or liquid of choice (depending on how thick you like it)
Cacao nibs, optional

Instructions:

Place everything in the bowl of a blender and blend on high until smooth. If banana is not frozen you may want to add a handful of ice to make this super creamy and frosty.
Top with cacao nibs if using!
