How to Make Popcorn Balls - Recipe
Whenever we watch movies or any of our favorite shows, popcorn is the most favorite snack to dig in. I will share to you guys how to make popcorn balls.
Ingredients

60 ml(2.5 cup) butter or margarine
240 ml(1 cup) popcorn
2.5 ml(0.5 teaspoon) salt
120 ml(0.5 cup) molasses
120 ml(0.5 cup) dark or light corn syrup
7 ml(0.5 tablespoon) vinegar
another 22 ml(1.5 tablespoons) butter or margarine

Directions
  1. Melt 60 ml butter or margarine in a large skillet
  2. Add popcorn and spread evenly on bottom
  3. Cover tightly and shake skillet over heat until corn is popped
  4. Put popped corn in mixing bowl, sprinkle with salt, and mix gently.
  5. Put molasses, corn syrup, and vinegar in large saucepad, and mix.
  6. Boil, stirring occasionally, until syrup reaches soft-ball stage,  115° C(240°F).
  7. Continue to boil, stirring constantly, until syrup reaches soft-crack stage, 132°C(270°F)
  8. Add butter or margarine, and stir until just melted.
  9. Pour syrup over popped corn, stirring gently to mix thoroughly.
  10. Shape with hands, when cool enough to handle, into balls and about 6 cm(2.5)inches in diameter. In forming balls, use as little pressure as possible so that popped corn will not be broken and balls will not to bee too tightly packed. A little butter or margarine on hands before shaping balls helps to keep candy from sticking to hands.
  11. Place on wax paper to harden. Yield about ten 2.5 inch balls.

Tips on Buying Microwave Oven and Features, Uses, and Care

Microwave Microwaves are a form of energy similar to radio and TV waves. A magnet tube inside the oven changes electricity into microwaves. The waves are spread through the oven by a fan. The interior of the oven is metal, so the microwaves bounce off it and cook the food from all sides. Cook- ware for use in microwave ovens is made from glass, plastic, paper, or ceramic, as microwaves can pass through them to the food. Microwave ovens cook by acting on the fat, water, and sugar molecules in the food, making them vibrate at great speeds. This movement creates friction, which causes heat. The heat cooks the food. The micro- waves enter the food to about a depth of 1.3 to 3.8 centimeters (1/2 to 1 1/2 inches). After this, the heat is conducted throughout the food. Microwaves use radio waves at a frequency of 2,500 mega hertz (MHz) which are then absorbed by water, fats or sugars and converted directly into atomic motion – or heat. Micro waves are not absorbed by most plastics, ...
