Imagine succulent shrimp stir-fried with fragrant garlic and then mixed with rich, creamy, and slightly sweet salted eggs. To cook garlic shrimp with salted egg, you will need:

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 salted duck eggs, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)

  1. I heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Then I added the garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Next is I added the shrimp and stir-fry until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  3. Added the mashed salted eggs and stir until the eggs are well-coated and heated through.
  4. Seasoned it with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnished with cilantro or green onions, if desired.
  6. Served the shrimp and egg mixture over steamed rice.
